Planning for an Interdisciplinary Response to Terrorist Use of Explosives


Terrorists' use of explosives present unique medical emergency management challenges. Current trends in global terrorism require that public health, public safety, and health care systems be prepared to cope with such challenges. During this extraordinary meeting, international and national experts with first hand experience of the impact of terrorists' events will share how the lessons they learned can benefit local planning here in Houston.


Presenters will include international experts from India, Israel, Pakistan, Spain, and the United Kingdom as well as national experts.


This event is targeted to Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services, Governmental Administrative, Hazardous Materials, Health Care, Hospitals, Law Enforcement and Security, Public Health, Public Safety, Communications, and Homeland Security.


While participation at this event is free of charge, you MUST register in order to attend.
